Coaching vs. Consulting: what’s the difference?

Coaching stimulates reflection and unlocks potential without interfering in the client’s decision-making.

Consulting recommends solutions and actively participates in their implementation with and for the client.

How to make your Coaching/Consulting journey a success?

  • Choosing the right professional is crucial – it goes far beyond just qualifications. Trust your gut feeling. A strong HUMAN CONNECTION is essential in any coaching or consulting journey. Don’t hesitate to ask me about my life path, training, experience, and the methods I use. I’m an open book – your confidence and comfort come first.
  • Pay close attention to the framework we set together. It must feel SAFE and foster a climate of mutual TRUST.
  • Have a general VISION of the goals you want to achieve through this support. Choose objectives you truly want to accomplish, not ones you feel you must do.
  • Tailor the coaching process to your own desires and needs (duration, scheduling of sessions, etc.), and RESPECT your OWN LIMITS and constraints.
  • Select goals that are sufficiently AMBITIOUS to pull you out of your comfort zone and truly CHALLENGE you, while still remaining ATTAINABLE.
